Our Art Prints on Canvas of Mark Gudmundsen's paintings look nearly like the originals. All are hand signed by the artist, and most are numbered in small limited editions.
There are two types of prints on canvas: Lithographs and giclee prints. Each has it's pro's and cons.
Lithographs are printed on a four color press using metal plates. The ink is pressed onto the surface. Our lithographs on canvas are water proof and very durable. The down side is that they may fade a bit over time if exposed to excessive UV rays.
Giclee Prints are done in a process where the ink is sprayed on, one tiny dot at a time. The ink used on our giclee prints will not fade over time. On giclee prints, the ink is not water proof, so care needs to be taken with them. Giclee prints are now the most popular printing form for artists.
All of our Canvas prints are framed in elegant wood frames.
