This is the completed under painting. It was done in acrylic. The next step will be to paint oils on top.  
I have started painting in oils. I painted the sky, the background trees, and the deep shadowed areas in the rock face. 
I worked more on the rock and painted the waterfall. 
I have worked on the background water and started working on the hill at the left. 
I have been working on the trees. 
Painting the detail in the water is the next step.
