This little waterfall is located on Lewis Creek a few miles south of Yosemite National Park. Because of the ferns and other vegitation there, the falls appears to me to be almost tropical looking. It reminded me of the waterfalls on the road to Hana on Maui. This is only a portion of the waterfall. It is a complex waterfall that cannot be seen entirely from any one view. The original painting is full of rich textures and a nice interplay of light and shadows.
